Beschreibung
In conversation with leading scholars, the "early years" of migration-related (social) pedagogy are reconstructed, from 1970 to the 1990s. Georg Auernheimer, Ursula Boos-Nünning, Stefan Gaitanides, Franz Hamburger, Leonie Herwartz-Emden, Marianne Krüger-Potratz and Wolfgang Nieke review their own scientific development, embedded in biographic, historical and political contexts as well as the discourses within the scientific field. Students of educational science and social work are given a vivid access to theoretical and practical traditions and thus a better understanding of current debates.
