Medical ethics is a specialized branch of applied ethics. Y.V.Satyanarayana, Ph.D: is Professor of Philosophy at Andhra University,India. His area of specialization is Ethics and Applied Ethics. He published two books: Marx and Gandhi: A Comparative Study of Social Philosophies and Ethics: Theory and Practice. As an Emeritus Professor of Philosophy, currently he is working on a research project in Applied Ethics.
