This book highlights ten cases of entrepreneurship that in the context of circular economy have redefined the paradigm of luxury and the notion of exclusivity that it requires. It shows how, by using technology and a new consumption model, the ten companies have created novel business models for luxury, and more intelligent forms of use better-suited to modern times.

Dr. Miguel Angel Gardetti, Ph.D., has been the head of the Center for Study of Corporate Sustainability (IESC) since its foundation in 2002. He is head professor in MBA and masters programs in Argentina and abroad. Within the frameworks of executive education and in-house programs, he has provided training to CEOs and corporate managers from both domestic and multinational companies in Argentina and Latin America. In the field of sustainable luxury, he founded the Centre for Study of Sustainable Luxury, first initiative of its kind in the world with an academic/research profile. He was co-editor of several books in this arena. He is the founder and director of the Award for Sustainability in the Universe of Luxury in Latin America at a regional level. For his contributions in this field, he was granted the Sustainable Leadership Award, in February, 2015 in Mumbai (India). Miguel was a member of the United Nations Global Compact Promoting Group in Argentina and a member of itsgovernance bodythe Board of the Argentine Chapter of The Global Compactfor two consecutive terms. He was a co-founder of the Global Compact Chair in Argentina, and he was also part of the task force that developed the "Management Responsible Education Principles" of the United Nations Global Compact.
Dr. Subramanian Senthilkannan Muthu is currently working for SGS as Environmental Services Manager-Asia, based at Hong Kong. He gained his diploma, bachelors and masters in Textile Technology from premier institutes of India. He was awarded doctorate from The Institute of Textiles and Clothing of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University for his dissertation entitled, Eco-functional Assessment of Grocery Shopping Bags. He also has more than seven years of industrial experience in textile manufacturing, textile testing and sustainability evaluation of various materials. He was an outstanding student throughout his studies and bagged numerous awards and medals including many gold medals in his study period. He has more than 80 academic publications in various textiles and environmental journals to his credit. Additionally he has 2 patents, 15 books of chapter and over 55 scientific books and numerous conference publications. He is acting as an editor, editorial board member and reviewer for many international peer-reviewed journals of textiles and environmental science disciplines.

Wenn Sie ein E-Book, das Adobe® Digital Editions benötigt herunterladen, erhalten Sie eine ASCM-Datei, die zu Digital Editions hinzugefügt und mit Ihrem Account verknüpft werden muss. Einige E-Book Reader (zum Beispiel PocketBook Touch) unterstützen auch das direkte Eingeben der Login-Daten des Adobe Accounts – somit können diese ASCM-Dateien direkt auf das betreffende Gerät kopiert werden.
