This book is an extract from the research/study on Socioeconomic factors influencing utilization of manual screw press for cassava mash dehydration for gari production in Kwara state Nigeria. The contents of the book would spur processors in the cassava industry to increase their utilization of impoved technologies because of the inherent advantages that go with utilization; a vivid example is improved standard of living of processors in this study. Dr. Adegbola Adetayo Jacob attended University of Ilorin, Nigeria where he bagged Bsc and Msc both in Sociology. He got his Ph.D in Rural sociology and Agricultural Extension from Benue state University, Nigeria. He presently works with Nigerian Stored Product Research Institute, Ilorin, Nigeria.
