Clapton und Johns –der schon Alben von The Eagles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin und The Who produzierte – haben bereits an Clapton’s Kultalbum Slowhand zusammengearbeitet, welches in den USA 3x mit Platin ausgezeichnet wurde und weltweit die Charts stürmte. Clapton’s Karriere, gingen nunmehr bereits 18 Grammy Awards hervor und die große Ehre ganze drei Mal in der Rock & Roll Hall of Fame verewigt zu sein.
